Tom Perkins
Tom Perkins established Parc-LA in 2024. For over 12 years he was a Senior Associate and Design Director in Gensler’s Los Angeles’ mixed-use studio. Most recently he led the design and execution of the award-winning West Edge, a mixed-use project in West LA, from Concept Design and Entitlements through Construction. As Design Director he initiated the design concepts, guided the team and communication with the client, Hines, and oversaw all aspects of design for this award-winning endeavor. Other Gensler projects as Design Director include COEX in Seoul, a 2016 Architizer Award winner, Oakridge Park in Vancouver, a 30-acre mixed-use redevelopment, a confidential mixed-use development in West Hollywood, Hayden Place in Culver City, a Master Plan for Ala Moana Center in Honolulu, and a Gensler research grant ‘Pathway to Net Zero’.
Prior to Gensler he was a project manager for over five years at Kevin Daly Architects and over seven years at RoTo Architects where he led teams for multiple award-winning projects including the Prairie View A & M Architecture Building, the Pacoima Neighborhood City Hall, the UCLA Music Building Expansion, the Harvard University Art Museums Master Plan and Concept Design, the National AIA award-winning Broadway Housing in Santa Monica, the Vineyard Residence in Chilmark, MA, and Manhattan Townhouse in NY.
Tom received his Masters of Architecture degree from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design and his Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Florida.
